Stop Snoring Exercises Part 3
Here is the third and final part of the
3-part article serious on stop snoring exercises.
If you’ve already read the 2 previous
articles then you’ll already know what this is all about… so
we’ll skip to the good stuff.
Let’s go:
In this article we will cover a few
tongue exercises you can do.
Here’s the first one: Point your tongue
straight out. Do it as far as you can, but not so hard as to
feel like you’re over-exerting it.
Also, you want to keep it straight and
level while you’re doing this.
Here’s a second tongue exercise:
While you’re tongue is pointing out as described above, move it
all the way to the right, and then to the left… as far as it
can go.
The next exercise is to try touching
your nose with your tongue. (You don’t actually have to be able
to touch it). Also, do the same thing, but the other way,
reaching down towards your chin.
Lastly, this exercise involves pushing
your tongue against something. So you poke your tongue out (as
in exercise one) But use something that will give some
resistance. Such as a spoon, or something else that you thing
will work just as well.
All of these exercises work to
strengthen the muscle at the back of your tongue which will
help increase room for the air to travel through your airways
while you’re breathing at night.
